Couldn’t be happier with the service we received from Devonshire and Sons! The price was fair, payment was made after the work was done and they even did extra jobs with no added cost. The workmen (Gary and Hubert) worked extremely hard, in 30 degree heat, and the end result was fantastic. Really impressed with their workmanship. Communications from the office (Victoria) were also great. Overall, would recommend this business to anyone. 10/10! Couldn’t be happier. Service: Patio paving

We have always found Devonshire & Son to be professional, friendly and responsive. We have found this to be the case with every person we have had contact with at their firm.

Sat behind two men sporting blue shirts matching the company name in Windsor creams where a large bearded man was berating and threatening his wife and young daughter with violence and vulgar language, can’t imagine what happens behind closed doors

I used Devonshire and Son to replace my driveway and to remove my garage door. On first inspection the work was great but as I looked closer the window wasn’t sealed correctly, daylight could be seen through the edges. I was challenged on what was agreed upon in the quote with a boundary wall apparently not being within the quote despite it being explicitly discussed. The new gates fitted have 6 inch nails going through a 1 inch piece of wood making it very dangerous and finally the on street water mains was covered by tarmac and has had to be located by the water company as Devonshire and Son have refused to answer any method of contact on that matter or as to if they are FENSA registered for the window. I was advised by Steve Devonshire that building regulations were not necessary as it was within permissible developments. That is true if you use a FENSA register builder for that type of work. I do hope I don’t get any further issues as the after care I have received is paramount to criminal given the tens of thousands of pounds I spent with Devonshire and Son to have the work completed. We were the third on our street to use Devonshire and Sons but will certainly be the last.
