Should have read the reviews first. I assume he'll claim this is fake too but had a terrible haircut. All I wanted was a simple back and sides but I got home and saw how patchy he's left it. Avoid.

9/2/24 Update This review was for Savaas not The Blue Room! Anna no longer works there. Excellent, always busy. Good cuts and brilliant value for money. Always get compliments on my hair after a visit - ladies ask for Anna and save yourselves some money. 05/22 Still good service and value for money.

I brought my son in for a haircut. I showed the hairdressor the photo of his last haircut and said I wanted it just like this. I also mentioned I did not want a straight fringe haircut and didnt want his hair cut short from the back. He started chopping all over no care for what i said. During the haircut i mentioned it twice that I do not want it cut short from back and i do not want it cut straight from the fringe. He compeltely ignored me. And did the exact opposite. I was absolutely fuming, I told him you did the exact opposite of what I said. And he had no care whatsoever. The worst hair experience!! He has the audacity to then say to me its a good haircut. Completely had no remorse for messing my boys hair up.

3rd time using this 'hairdressers' today I vow never to return. My hair was massacred! 1st time the hairdressers cut herself and bled on my son. Today I went in desperate before a wedding just in need of a trim. There was no female member of staff but the gentleman asked what I wanted and I told him. He said fine. He offered me a dye job but I told him I liked being grey. He didn't brush my hair, find my parting. He cut for less than 10 minutes and was done. He hadn't touched the front. When I got in the car I realised how awful the job was. I don't have layers, spirit level straight usually, but now I did. Uneven jagged and unfinished. The under section longer at the front than the top. The section he hadn't touched longer than everything else. Awful. Spent 20 minutes trying to fix it at home to avoid looking ridiculous at work. Leaving a load in my sink. Turns out he's a barber and apparently incapable of cutting ladies hair. He should not be offering or charging to do so. I now need to go elsewhere. So if you're a lady or have long hair stick well clear!

The guy started cutting my hair before I'd even finished explaining, and it felt like he was in a rush even though there was noone else there. After about 5/10 minutes he'd finished, so I kept having to ask for additional things. Overall he was nice enough but for £15 I feel like he could've been a lot more thorough. Nice touch giving you sweets while you wait though. Think it's changed owners so it's called Zozo or something now. I don't know if that has anything to do with cutting my fringe completely different lengths.

Ladies do not go there. Anna was great. Come back.... now a poor basin haircut, which took less than 5 minutes and cost £20. A very bad experience

Fantastic hairdressers/barbers Im so happy with my haircut it looks brilliant, you sit and wait for your turn but you never have to wait to long, and the prices are brilliant, you get top salon haircut for a fraction of the price.

This is a traditional barber shop where you queue for your haircut and accept the hairdresser who first becomes available. You can get a good selection of styles by qualified stylists. Prices are very reasonable and if you just want a sensible haircut without all the frills of many modern hairdressers, then you will not be disappointed. I have never waited for longer than 20 minutes for a cut, having used Savvas for 10 years. Booking not required.
